GT Shift Boot has been restocked with enough units to complement the release of GT Center Console Cover, for those interested in purchasing both items simultaneously. Red, yellow, and black-stitched options are available.
GT Shift Boot is uniquely produced for the S2000 and features a taller, fuller, more-fitted silhouette utilizing premium materials and construction. Its design supports more than one position depending on the preference of the driver and the shift knob attached. Depicted below are three different settings in which GT Shift Boot can be positioned. With many shift knob options on the market, keeping flexibility high in this product's installation was a focus during the design process.
Narrow Setting
A narrow setting that sits tallest on the shifter and tight enough to support the locking nut below the shift knob. No additional hardware or collars are needed to keep the fabric standing proud. This setting is ideal for extended shift knobs.
Medium Setting
A medium setting that allows the Alcantara shift boot to sit just below the shift knob.
Wide Setting
A wide position that allows the boot to sit lower on the shifter.
A wide setting that sits lowest and most broadly on the shifter and leaves room to grip the shift knob confidently without grazing past the Alcantara fabric. No additional hardware or collars are needed.
Recently, a question was raised regarding whether GT Shift Boot is the same or similar to other products on the market. All soft goods offered in GT’s catalog are uniquely designed and produced by GT GOODS.
A distinguishing catalog element can be found in GT’s stitching pattern design which is consistent across all products regardless of fabric or color selection. Influenced by European design, this unique stitching pattern is a delicate blend of thread selection, needle choice, and patience. This key element results in maximum interior cohesion when purchasing multiple items at once, versus combining manufacturers.
